Located in the heart of Amsterdam‘s historic city center, Studio Catta is a charming boutique and workshop. Since 2006, owner and designer Catta has been the creative force behind every piece crafted in the store. Her passion for impeccable fit and quality fabrics shines through in every garment, from dresses and skirts to cardigans.

The atelier specializes in creating garments from high-quality materials, often using deadstock fabrics, making each piece a limited edition. Catta has a particular affinity for natural fabrics like cotton and viscose, often blending them for enhanced comfort, reduced wrinkles, and increased durability. All prints are meticulously crafted in-house, drawing inspiration from real-life cats to create playful and distinctive motifs. These distinctive designs are hand-printed on organic cotton and fairwear garments.

Rather than launching seasonal collections, Studio Catta embraces a continuous creative process, introducing one or two new items each month. Some of Catta‘s designs have become timeless favorites, reimagined in new fabrics year after year.

Catta‘s journey in fashion began with creating clothes for her dolls, which quickly evolved into designing for herself. She debuted her first collection at Kunstbende and later her designs were sold at Club Warehouse Amsterdam. Eager to expand her skills, she earned a bachelor’s degree from Amfi and a master’s from FIA. Her talent was recognized with prestigious awards, including the Mittelmoda Italy award and an IAF award in Delhi.

Driven by a passion for crafting wearable garments that blend elegance and style, Catta embarked on her journey by launching her own label. Her designs not only showcase her impeccable taste but also radiate the genuine love and dedication she invests in each piece, a sentiment she believes is evident in every item she creates.
